Four Lokos ban

Why are they trying to ban it? My belief is that as usual its a malt liquor beverage served and drank in the hood, and it made its way to suburbia America! Look up or google Four Loko's ban and every article will mention "black out in a can" and College students. Now I personally know college students and/or suburban kids ain't the only ones drinking this. But look at Olde English High Gravity 800, King Cobra or even Steel Reserve which is between 6% to 8% and Four Lokos is 12%. My point is all these drinks are "black outs in a can" only difference is might need one or two more beers than Four Loko to get into "black out" level! So why not call for a ban on the others......because the others is strictly in the hood!!!!!!If Steel Reserve was popular in colleges or suburb best believe it be ban! Now if Four Loko's wasn't college or suburb popular, best believe it would be just another malt liquor drink in the stores of the hood.......and that's my 2 cents!

WHY AM I BLACK

Lord ... Why did you make me black?

By Sandra A. Mushi

Why did you make someone

the world would hold back?

Black is the color of dirty clothes,

of grimy hands and feet...

Black is the color of darkness,

of tired beaten streets...

Why did you give me thick lips,

a broad nose and kinky hair?

Why did you create someone

who receives the hated stare?

Black is the color of the bruised eye

when someone gets hurt...

Black is the color of darkness,

black is the color of dirt.

Why is my bone structure so thick,

my hips and cheeks so high?

Why are my eyes brown,

and not the color of the sky?

Why do people think I'm useless?

How come I feel so used?

Why do people see my skin

and think I should be abused?

Lord, I just don't understand...

What is it about my skin?

Why is it some people want to hate me

and not know the person within?

Black is what people are "Labelled"

when others want to keep them away...

Black is the color of shadows cast...

Black is the end of the day.

Lord you know my own people mistreat me,

and you know this just ain't right...

They don't like my hair, they don't like my

skin, as they say I'm too dark or too light!

Lord, don't you think

it's time to make a change?

Why don't you redo creation

and make everyone the same?

God's Reply:

Why did I make you black? Why did I make you black?

I made you in the color of coal

from which beautiful diamonds are formed...

I made you in the color of oil,

the black gold which keeps people warm.

Your color is the same as the rich dark soil

Your color is the same as the black stallion and

panther, Oh what majestic creatures indeed!

All colors of the heavenly rainbow

can be found throughout every nation...

When all these colors are blended,

you become my greatest creation!

Your hair is the texture of lamb's wool,

such a beautiful creature is he...

I am the shepherd who watches them,

I will ALWAYS watch over thee!

You are the color of the midnight sky,

I put star glitter in your eyes...

There's a beautiful smile hidden behind your pain...

That's why your cheeks are so high!

You are the color of dark clouds

from the hurricanes I create in September...

I made your lips so full and thick,

so when you kiss...they will remember!

Your stature is strong,

your bone structure thick to withstand the

burden of time...

The reflection you see in the mirror,

that image that looks back, that is MINE!

So get off your knees,

look in the mirror and tell me what you see?

I didn't make you in the image of darkness...

I made you in the image of ME!

Your Mother, Your Angel

This is a poem I found that I want to dedicate to the mother of my best friend Sarah J. Donovan and my condolence goes out to her sister and the rest of her family!

Your Mother, Your Angel © and by Natasha Jordan

You look back on memories you forgot you had,And at times you'll smile even though it hurts so bad.Your mother is a special woman and no one can take her place,You'll find a piece of mind when you remember he smiling face.Your mother is an angel now she flies high above the rest, and in your hearts always and forever she will be the best. She has earned her wings and it's time for her to fly,I know it hurts no one is ever ready to say good-bye.She knows you do not understand and that you cry at night,But as you finally drift of to sleep let her memory hold you tight. She will be your guardian angel through the rest of your life,Helping lead you on the path between what' wrong and right.your mother loves you so very much and her love will always remain true,Please don't ever think for a second that your mother will forget you.A mothers love is like no other in the whole world,d she has the most wonderful memories of her little girls. She has taken them with her as she's flown away,Up to Heaven free of pain which is her new home to stay.So although you can not see her and you wish she could be there,Your mother can always hear you and your mother will always care.A mother does not forget the two greatest loves of her life,And she loved nothing more than being your mommy, and your daddy's wife. She is so proud of her family and that's in her heart to stay,Even though she's and angel and has had to fly away.So as you cry your tears remember your mothers love,Being sent to you from her, from the beautiful Heaven above. She will be there through your good times, she will be there through your bad,She'll be there when you are happy, she'll be there when your sad.Your mother has become and angel now, it is her time to fly,And you will never know how bad it hurt me to watch you have to say good-bye.
she'll will be missed by many!
